Good Heavens, What Happened to April?

I swear, it was the first week of April just a couple of days ago. Really. I blinked and it turned into Cinco de Mayo; how did that happen?

So what have I been doing during my blink? Plotting!

Plotting to bring Sherrilyn Kenyon to Mayhem in the Grove 2011 as our guest of honor. Plotting to bring Michael Hauge to Mayhem in the Grove as our master class instructor. Plotting to fix the dratted website instead of putting more band-aids on the code. Bwah-hah-hah-hah! Bits of my evil plan are coming together.

And replotting the last quarter of the first draft of Valois Contingency that I finished in March. The plot turn to the climax just wasn’t working right, and I had to figure out why. Then I had to figure out how to fix it. Okay, I’m still working on that part, but I’m also taking an online plotting workshop from Bob Mayer, one of the instructors from the 2009 Murder in the Grove Master Class Weekend. I consider Bob a plotting guru. Seriously, he rocks.

In other news, the Evil Day Job (which isn’t very evil, really) is still busy-busy-busy. Considering what we do, that’s a very good sign. I’m happy about it, anyway.

Now back to my plotting….
